Welcome to The Old Rectory of St James Guest House

A Quintessentially English Guest House in Telford, Shropshire

This 18th century Rectory became a Guest House around 1980. We delight in offering luxury Bed and Breakfast accommodation with charm and character, plus that little bit extra.

Rosemary and Adrian provide a welcoming atmosphere where the simple things are done well. You will find a vase of fresh flowers in your room and we offer home Afternoon Tea on your arrival. You will start the day with a scrumptious breakfast of locally sourced ingredients, homemade bread and jams, also eggs from our own hens.

Guests can also enjoy an acre of gardens, yet we are only 5 mins drive/20 mins walk to the centre of Telford or 10 mins drive to Ironbridge. We are also within easy reach of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, The Shropshire Hills, Much Wenlock, RAF Cosford, Weston Park and Ludlow.

Ideal for visitors to the Telford International Centre and Ironbridge Gorge Museums
