My husband and I had a restful, comfortable weekend at The Old Rectory. Adrian and Rosemary are outstanding hosts; who provided an excellent breakfast and 5 star accommodations. They have done a phenomenal job with the property as evidenced by the stunning garden and a very clean and nicely furnished home. Our room had special touches; including nice lotions/toiletries as well as homemade shortbread and a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate. We highly recommend a stay at The Old Rectory! - JG Banbury August 2020
We had a wonderfully relaxing time at your guest house. ….. were grateful for your generous hospitality and for our breakfast-time conversations with you. It was nice to get to know you. We also appreciated the tranquil beauty of our room, and of the garden it overlooked. - GB from London August 2020
Lovely room, very friendly hosts who made us a wonderful log fire on a cold evening, and the most beautiful garden (with hens!). Breakfast was delicious. We had a wonderful stay. - From Cambridge April 2019

I’ve spent 20 years living in hotels and this is by far the most relaxing, home-from-home experience I’ve ever had. Rosemary and Adrian are the perfect hosts, the breakfasts are superb, the rooms very welcoming and quiet and the whole ambience just really calm and peaceful; perfect after a hectic day in the office. - Guest from Oxford - May 2018
We returned here after a stay in the summer because we had enjoyed our first visit so much and we would love to return again. Adrian and Rosemary are excellent hosts who give you such a warm welcome and the house and gardens are absolutely beautiful. The delicious, award winning breakfast has locally resourced quality meat, eggs from their own chickens and homemade bread and preserves. It is delicious! It is a real treat to be welcomed with homemade cakes and scones on arrival too. - Couple - Chipping Sodbury - April 2018
This is the third time we’ve stayed here (our company annual kick off conference is now held at the TIC) and every visit has been superb. This year was certainly no exception – greeted with a beautiful afternoon tea, a wonderful and well appointed bedroom and in the morning a delicious fresh cooked breakfast that’s as good as you’ll have anywhere. Adrian and Rosemary are brilliant hosts and it really feels like “home from home”. There’s nowhere better in the area. - Cheshire Couple - January 2018
We arrived on my Dad’s 84th birthday to stay 1 night before my son’s wedding the next day. What a wonderful place to stay! A very warm welcome, followed by superb homemade cakes and tea, and plenty of chatting around the log fire. Superbly clean rooms, well equipped, comfy beds, fresh flowers, fluffy towels, great bathrooms, homemade biscuits….all very relaxing. A wonderful breakfast, cooked beautifully by Rosemary and served by Adrian, such great hosts, made us all feel thoroughly spoiled. I stay in hotels a lot for work, and I can honestly say that I wish all were as superb as this. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area. - krisbezzant - January 2018
