As a finalist we now goes forward to the glittering Awards Ceremony which is being held on Monday 11 May 2015 at the Sage Gateshead. The Awards will take place in the North East for the first time, coinciding with an exciting year that also sees Rugby World Cup 2015 coming to Newcastle
The VisitEngland Awards attracted a total of 345 applications. We will have to wait until the Awards Ceremony to find out which award we will receive. All finalists are guaranteed to receive either a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Highly Commended Award.

Of course, we are delighted that our quintessentially English Guest House has been selected as one of the finalists. We have endeavoured over the last four years to be one of the best in Telford and Shropshire, so to be in the top five nationally is a wonderful achievement for us.

We make the most of what Shropshire has to offer – its food, attractions, countryside and heritage – to tempt guests from all over the world to stay with us. Their stay usually exceeds their expectations, so come and book a few days with us!

Update: We won the Bronze Award for Excellence in the Guest House/B&B category 2015! What a result for the first time of trying.
